Q: Is this product UV resistant?
A: Yes. It features a inner PU layer which is UV resistant.
Q: Which side faces down onto the ground for waterproofing below the tent?
A: The silver PU layer should face inside. The outer fabric is 3000mm waterproof.
Q: Could this work as a dry ground cover/seating with 3-5-year-olds walking on it with soccer cleats?
A: The tarp can be used as ground cover. Soccer cleats are rubber so I guess they would not damage the tarp.
Q: Does it work with the Unigear Double Hammock?
A: Yes. The medium and large size are suitable for both single and double hammock.

While I’m not a camper, this product has kept my bunnies (I have 3 of them) nice and dry when it rains and warm when it’s cold. I liked it so much that I bought a second one.

A friend and I just completed a four day - three night kayak and hammock camping trip on the upper Mississippi River in northern Minnesota. On night two we encountered an unexpected severe thunderstorm. I’ve used the Unigear rainproof tarp for several years and it has performed flawless in many small rain storms, but this was different. We later found out the wind gusts were 60+ mph! The rain was so hard you could barely see anything.
All I have to say is me, my hammock and all my gear stayed dry. I couldn’t believe no water pushed through the tarp and there was no sign of damage to the tie downs. Incredible product! I have 100% confidence in this tarp.
