Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Q: Which size should I choose?
A: You can choose the size depends on the distance between the trough at the top of your nose and the bottom of your chin. Between 10-12cm (3.9''-4.7'') please choose S/M, between 12 -13cm (4.7''-5.1'') please choose L/XL. Please find the size chart
That's the choice in most cases. If your face is wider, or your nose is quite large, then you can also consider L/XL.
Q: Why is my mask fogging up?
A: First of all, check if there are any oil, dirt specks and microscopic imperfections inside the mask, the moisture inside your snorkeling mask has to hang on to something, so they might be the leading causes.
Then check if we put on the mask properly.
Our anti-fogging system works by separating the inhaled air from the exhaled air.
Inhaled air contacts the viewing area before reaching the mouth and nose. When the user exhales, the exhaled air is directly discharged from the pipes on both sides and does not contact the viewing area, thereby preventing the fog by physical means.
So make sure you have fastened the mask, breathe normally to check for any leaks. If you feel a slight pressure change when you breathe, then you have a good seal. Without a proper seal around your nose and cheeks, proper airflow may be impacted and the chances of fogging increase.
Q: Why does my mask leak?
A: The mask may leak for several reasons. Make sure you have chosen the right size and fastened the mask, breathe normally to check for any leaks. If you feel a slight pressure change when you breathe, then you have a good seal. Facial hair may prevent a proper seal and cause leaking in the mask. For an optimal experience, please shave the facial hair before you put on the mask.
Q: Why is my breathing sometimes blocked?
A: The airflow will be blocked if you have leaned your head too far forward. The dry top system will do its job to prevent the water from leaking by blocking the floater when the snorkel was totally submerged. In case of submersion, remember to blow out when you get to the surface so as to let the float descend.
Q: What precautions should I take with my full face snorkel mask?
A: Avoid letting your mask come into contact with sand. Sand will scratch your lens and prevent the seal of the mask. Before every use, check that there is no sand or other debris on or in the snorkel mask tube and buckle. If you find any sand or debris, rinse thoroughly with water.
